Getting to 6 pack abs is not a hard task. In fact, it is very easy with a proper diet, a good weight training program, and some motivation. It is up to YOU if you want a beach body. In bodybuilding, losing fat is called “cutting”. Cutting means to lose fat while retaining the muscle you have. You do not want to lose your hard earned muscle! To lose fat you simply have to eat less calories then you burn. Aim to burn an extra 500 calories a day threw proper diet and a workout program. You goal should be to lose 1 pound a week. If you lose weight too fast, you will lose muscle and plateau.

You will also have to build your abdominal’s up to see your 6 pack. In bodybuilding, gaining muscle is called “bulking”. Bulking means to gain muscle while minimizing fat gain. To gain muscle you simply have to eat more calories then you burn. However, you want to eat healthy protein-filled foods like Chicken, Tuna, Eggs, etc to gain muscle. Aim to eat an extra 500 calories a day. Having a good weight lifting routine is essential because you want to gain muscle. An extra calories that are not used for energy will be stored as fat. For gaining muscle, you goal should be to gain 0.5 to 1 pound a week. If you gain weight too fast, you will add on too much fat that you will have to “cut” later.
