Top Secret Fat Loss Secret looks at losing weight as a different perspective. The book gives you a few ways to lose weight.  According to the book, the body builds up fat around the vital organs in a bid to stop more toxins building up – a kind of protection mechanism. Sure signs that you have this ‘toxic build up’ are – fat around the midsection, buttocks and/or thighs, this is a sign the liver is not working at it’s best. The theory is, when using the detox diet in the book, the toxins are flushed out along with the stubborn fat.

Negatives

This book has a major setback as there is yet again, no big secret to losing weight. Only a good weight training program and diet can provide you with that. This book does not provide you with this information so it will do you no good. It is another typical secret lose weight program looking at something that the majority have no thought of. Another huge setback is that toxins, and detox diets, are just theories and not backed up by science. You should only buy this book if you think your invested with parasites…..not fat.

Conclusion

There are definetely better options out there for those who are willing to stick to a weight training program or diet. However, I could see this book working for those who have issues from drugs or just need a start up to eating healthy and being content with there body. So it is worth the price in that regard. The purpose of this website is to build muscle and lose fat and this book does not do that despite its fat loss secret claims. All in all,  Top Secret Fat Loss Secret gets 2 out of 5 stars.

Turbulence Training

Positives

The turbulence training system is a great workout for those transitioning over from the beginner phase to the intermediate phase. The author, Craig Ballantyne, really set up a great workout in his book. Turbulence training gives you three 45 minute workouts a week. The workout is followed by these principals:

  1. Train 3 days per week. Alternate between Workouts A & B.
  2. Each workout will be resistance training followed by Interval Training.
  3. Perform 2-4 sets per exercise and 6-8 repetitions per set.
  4. Pair “non-competing” exercises in supersets.
  5. Rest 1 minute between exercises.
  6. Perform 2 warm-up sets.
  7. Conclude each workout with Interval Training.
  8. Change the exercises in the workout every 3 weeks!
  9. Get your nutrition together! Decrease your calorie intake by eliminating processed carbohydrates and some saturated fat from your diet.

Negatives

Turbulence training does not include a diet in its workout program. A good workout program has to be followed by a good diet because the diet is 90% of a body transformation. Without a diet, how will people know what to do when they are too tired to workout or not having good recovery or the scale is staying the same? Not only that, most will not know how to measure there progress. Also turbulence training says that cardio is not needed and is not useful. For gaining muscle, cardio should be limited by not completely neglected. Remember, the heart is a muscle as well!

Conclusion

Turbulence training only provides a good workout and not a diet program. The author also neglects cardio and doesn’t provide his users with ways to measure their progress in that manner. The e-book is a bit overpriced in that regard because it is $39.95. We will give Turbulence training an average score of 3/5 because the workout itself is awesome and unique.

The author is a bodybuilder and the book is a nutrtion and workout guide for mainly beginning bodybuilders (but you can be your average joe as well). Tom teaches you how to set up your own diet and workout plan and one is provided for you meal by meal.

Conclusions

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is one of the most successful fitness e-books because it has helped thousands of people transform there bodies. Acai Berry markets itself as a huge weight loss supplement. However, you should know from our articles, that losing weight is all about burning more calories then you eat. Its a simple concept of therodynamics. So this is a big scam on Acai Berry’s part. Acai Berry can only supplement a weight loss program because it is high in fiber and thats it. There is no scientifc evidence to support weight loss from acai berry’s, even if they do make one feel better.

The way Acai Berry promotes itself is a huge scam on there part. However, because the product actually does have benefits, we cannot give it a 1 star. The Acai Berry itself will not help you too much in achieving your goals. Remember, a good diet and workout program is the way to go. Not a superfood or magic supplement like the Acai Berry claims to be.

Negatives

New weight trainers will have problems at first understanding his workout program and may need help with this part. Vince Delmonte’s approach is a bit unique, which causes a lot of confusion on some aspects of the program. Also the book can be a little disorganized at times. The book is mainly for beginner to intermediate weight lifters and not so much for the advanced lifter.

The benefits of this program outweigh the negatives by far and so Vince Delmonte’s No-Nonsense Muscle Building program will get 5 stars out of 5 from us. The $77 e-book is well worth the price.
